Monuments-Witnesses Against Agnotology 2023—
Over the past two years, I’ve been struck by how agnotology has deliberately muddied facts about our role in climate change. The individual panels of Monuments (a mountain, an industrial surface, a falling rock, water close-up and the Flatirons of Colorado) emerge as monumental witnesses against doubt. The planet itself will likely recover, certain species may not.
