Monuments-Witnesses 2023—
I have long used images of nature as a stand-in for human desires and hubris from early Romance Paintings through the series Outerspace, Terraforming, Searching for Water on Mars. Monuments begun in 2023, is a simple project, made of solitary images bearing witness to our world as it is.
